Abstract

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland bought a building for its headquarters and discount retail outlet, ReStore for $1.9 million. The building also houses two tenants. Owning the building, rather than renting one, will help the nonprofit realize savings that will be invested in more affordable housing projects in the Greater Portland area.
