Abstract

Fourteen Maine business and municipal leaders, legislators, and educators traveled to Denmark to learn how that country has reduced its fossil fuel use and addressed climate change and what innovations they have employed could be used in Maine. Denmark is the is a world leader in this area, having reduced its fossil fuel use by more than one-third since 1971.
