Abstract

The use of skimming devices to read bank cards at drive-through tellers has been as on the rise as a last effort to capitalize on stealing from accounts that are still accessed by magnetic cards with stripes. How to protect oneself from such a scheme and what banks are doing is presented. Advise from Scott Chretien, president and CEO of York County Credit Union is featured. [image]
