Abstract

The American Society of Civil Engineers report that Maine's infrastructure has declined in eight areas of the past four years. Specifics of the report in regard to federal funding level for improvements and what is needed to improve roads, dams and bridges and meet drinking water standards and wastewater processing are outlined as well as the Maine Section ASCE recommendations to help make these improvements. A graph depicting Maine's infrastructure grade summary is shown. [graph]
