Abstract

Article on building projects in Portland during the past year, with a focus on the new Rines Block located at 641 and 643 Congress Street. The Rines Block, which is just approaching completion, will devote the first floor to business places. The remaining four stories will be made into a family hotel. With a list of other business or manufacturing buildings under construction, and a description of the new residence of Fred E. Richards, president of the Union Mutual Company.
