Abstract

"Politics and Other Mistakes" piece questioning the ethical standards of Sen. Christopher Hall, D-Bristol, who refused to vote May 27 on a bill that would have allowed the public to inspect disputed ballots in state elections once recounts were complete. Hall, who won in a disputed election last year, was on record as favoring making these documents public, yet was not present when a vote was taken. The bill was defeated by a single vote.
