Abstract

"this just in" piece on 24-Hour Comics Day, which is being celebrated locally at Portland's Casablanca Comics. On April 24, at about 50 locations nationwide, artists and writers of all types will be attempting to create a 24-page comic in 24 hours. Rick Lowell, owner of Casablanca Comics, says he'll be reproducing at least a few of the comics created at his store, and will make an effort to put out a local compilation.
