Abstract
"Politics and Other Mistakes" piece in opposition to a proposed constitutional amendment that will appear on the November ballot to give the commercial fishing industry a large tax break. If approved, the amendment would allow passage of a law requiring cities and towns to assess waterfront land that supports commercial fishing at less than its fair-market value.
