Abstract

"This Just In" piece on Carol Schiller, a Portland artist and candidate for the at-large seat on the Portland City Council. Schiller, who recently admitted to being one of the original Valentine's Day red heart bandits, has made public art a focus of her campaign platform. For the past 24 years, red paper hearts have appeared on windows and public spaces throughout the city on Valentine's Day morning.
