Abstract

"This Just In" piece reporting that the political activist group The League is promoting Critical Mass events as a way to raise awareness about alternative transportation options. The event invites cyclists to ride through major downtown streets as a pack. The first attempt at staging a Critical Mass drew a low turnout, perhaps due to stormy weather. The next ride leaves Monument Square on July 30, and continues the last Friday of every month.
