Abstract

Article, featuring an interview in question-and-answer format with Eli Pariser, executive director of MoveOn.org. Pariser, a 25-year-old native of Lincolnville, moved to Portland from Brooklyn in May. MoveOn.org is a progressive political activist group with membership of more than 3.3 million. Pariser discusses the importance of the Internet as an organizing tool, their campaign for the 2006 elections, and activism in Maine.
