"This Just In" piece on Deane Brown and Smokey Heath, both former prisoners at the Maine State Prison who were shipped to out-of-state prisons and have had their lives put at risk. Inmates believe prisoners are often shipped out because authorities consider them troublemakers. Heath is being held at at prison in Florida where he was stabbed in the neck. Brown, whose federal civil-rights lawsuit against Maine corrections officials has drawn national attention, was shipped last year to the Maryland Supermax in Baltimore.
