Abstract

"Politics + Other Mistakes" piece commenting on Maine's 2nd District congressional race, which pits incumbent Democrat Rep. Michael Michaud against Republican John Frary. In other news, the Maine Democratic Party is desperate to find a candidate to run for the state House seat in the East Deering section of Portland, currently represented by Boyd Marley. Marley is ending his fourth term in Augusta, and can't run again in 2008 due to term limits. Elizabeth Peavey, columnist for The Bollard Web site was asked if she'd consider running, but she turned the offer down.
