Abstract

"This Just In" piece on upcoming prison-reform events across the state. On January 20, "Bend the Bars," a meeting to organize a statewide prisoner advocacy group, will meet in Belfast. On Martin Luther King Day, January 21, a workshop on prisoner education will be presented at Bates College in Lewiston. And on January 22, a public lecture by Max Kenner on "Liberal Arts in the Prisons" will be given at Bates College.
