Abstract

"this just in" piece on signs that have been showing up in windows around the country show the American and Muslim flags. The signs first originated as an informal project of Portland West to honor the victims lost on Sept. 11 and to let those of the Muslim faith know that they need not feel guilt by association in the home or workplace of the displayer of the sign. Nathan Strimling says the response to the signs has been heart warming.
