"The State Outdoors" piece on geocaching, which is a hobby that combines the latest electronic gadgetry with old-fashioned treasure hunting and is built around a simple premise: someone hides something and posts its coordinates on the Internet so others can look for it using a new technology called "GPS." Participants use GPS data and other clues posted with each entry on < geocaching.com >.
