Abstract

Mary Malia, Carolyn Gage and Karen Wyman have decided to organize a gathering for lesbians where they'll be able to share ideas, creative work and talk about the lesbian community in Portland. Their first meeting will be Sept. 29 at a home in the Portland area. Gage will present a reading of her one-act, one-woman play "The Parmachene Bell," which is reportedly about Cornelia Crosby, the 19th-century Maine hunting guide from Rangeley.
