Abstract
"House of the month" piece on No. 62 Bowdoin Street, a John Calvin Stevens cottage built in 1883 that is selling for $768,000. Stevens designed 12 out of 16 houses on Bowdoin Street, a number of them Arts & Crafts cottages like No. 62, which he designed just 10 years after graduating from Portland High School. The seller is Fred Richardson.
