Abstract

"House of the month" piece on an 1851 Italianate mansion in Bangor that has had only three owners, including Bangor lawyer William T. Hilliard, who built the house; Lincoln's vice president Hannibal Hamlin, who remodeled it; and the Bangor Theological Seminary. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is being offered at $449,000.
