Abstract

Two John Calvin Stevens homes are for sale on the West End: the Webb House, a brick Colonial Revival built at 29 Bowdoin St. in 1906, and a home at 161 Pine St., on which the young Stevens collaborated with architect Francis H. Fassett in 1882. Stevens once told his son that the Bowdoin St. home was his favorite house in Portland.
