Profiles of Maine artists Lisa Pixley, 24, of Portland, whose work is being shown at the Hay Gallery in Portland; Alan Bray, 57, of Sangerville, who is known for his "mystical realism" landscapes; Natasha Mayer, 57, a left-wing activist-muralist-painter, who is dubbed as the most underrated artist in Maine; and Emily Nelligan, 79, a summer resident of Great Cranberry for 55 years, known for her charcoal sketches of the shoreline there.
