Abstract

"chowder" piece on a discovery in the attic of Portland's City Hall of a certificate presented to the city by the crew of the Apollo XVII in 1973. Dan Boutilier, the city's director of information systems, found the certificate, which will soon be restored and displayed at city hall. On a related note, York native Chris Cassidy, 34, is the first Mainer selected by NASA for the space program.
