Abstract

An article on and interview with Westbrook native Kevin Eastman, 41, who created the wildly popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with partner Peter Laird in 1983. Today he owns Heavy Metal magazine, a 25-year-old multi-media organization; and he and his wife, Julie Strain, are planning to launch "Underwhere, Ghettopolos, and Fistful of Blood." He talks about his love of comics and of reconnecting with his roots when he returns to Maine.
