Abstract

LandVest is asking $1,450,000 for a Shingle Style "cottage" on Great Diamond Island, built by Krouse Timber Frames in 1998 for ocean sail racer Barbara Leiter. David Bateman of Dictar Associates bought World War II-era Fort McKinley when it was deserted and run-down, and bucking opposition, transformed the property into Diamond Cove Estates. Leiter's estate has views of Diamond Cove from its site at the foot of the Moon Garden on the former grounds of Fort McKinley.
