Abstract

Profiles of five Maine artists whose work goes beyond the two-dimensional. Those profiled are: Judy Gailen, 53, an award-winning Portland set designer; Abby Huntoon, 53, a sculptor who works out of Fore Street Studios in South Portland; Daielma Santos, 38, a resident choreographer for Portland Ballet Company; Kim Bernard, 40, a North Berwick sculptor; and Joline Blais, a new media artist and professor of new media at the University of Maine.
