Abstract

The U.S. Congress has approved a bill directing the Coast Guard to transfer ownership of the Heron Neck Lighthouse on Green Island to the Island Institute of Rockland. The keeper's house at the 139-year-old lighthouse was damaged in a 1989 fire.
