Abstract

The Deering Oaks Master Plan Committee, which is trying to develop short- and long-term plans for the 50-acre park, has endorsed a proposal that would ban cars from much of the park and prohibit parking on all of its roads. The plan is now before the planning board, which will comment on it and forward it to the city council for approval. Details.
