The Maine State Planning Office on Wednesday released a year-end report that predicted the state's economy will grow at a 2 to 3 percent rate through 1997. Maine's economy grew at a 1 percent annual rate for the first three quarters of 1993, as compared to a 1.8 percent rate nationwide. Details.
