Abstract

Sanela and Minela Smajovic, sisters from Bosnia, on Saturday were examined by doctors at Mid-Maine Medical Center in Waterville. The girls, who arrived in Maine on Christmas Eve, were wounded November 10 during artillery shelling of Sarajevo, and were evacuated from Bosnia with the help of Portland-based Veterans for Peace.
