Abstract

The Maine Supreme Judicial Court yesterday denied an appeal by Catherine Duffy Petit, former owner of the pier at Old Orchard Beach, to revive a lawsuit against Key Bank. Petit claimed that Key Bank had conspired with Leonard Nelson and the Portland law firm of Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson to take control of the pier, but the justices ruled unanimously that the claims had already been decided.
