Abstract

The Maine Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration have developed a plan that will provide child care for construction workers employed on the Portland Bridge highway project. The agencies are hoping the child-care center, which will provide care for as many as 25 pre-schoolers, will attract more women to the construction industry. Details.
