Saco Defense Inc., claiming that its 1992 property tax bill was $250,000 too high, will meet with Saco city officials today to seek a rebate. The city's 1987 evaluation of Saco Defense assessed the company's real estate and personal property at $27.4 million, but company officials say that economic hard times have diminished the company's value.
