The 8-year-old Maine State Ballet has signed a five-year lease on the former Forest Street School in Westbrook, and will open for classes at the new location on Monday -- The dance company, which has 35 dancers and gives lessons to 300 students, plans to spend $20,000 improving the building over the term of the lease
