Abstract

Article about the need for a law that would prohibit attempts to lure children onto private private with sexual intent -- The need for such an statute came to light in Kittery last year when authorities were unable to prosecute a man who enticed a seven-year-old boy into his yard and masturbated in front of him -- While Catherine Heald, the mother of the boy, believes the state needs a tougher law now, -- lawmakers and others responsible for formulating such measures that it is best to take the time needed to formulate a law that will achieve the purpose for which it is intended
