Related articles on the recent property tax case between Bath Iron Works and the city of Bath -- An independent state board reviewed the tax dispute and in January ruled that the city had assessed the shipyard at twice its actual worth -- A double-digit tax increase will be necessary in Bath, according to one city councilor, to make up for the loss of taxes from BIW -- The shipyard alleges that the city treated it differently than other taxpayers when it was being assessed
