Abstract

A joint research project of Jackson Laboratories in Bar Harbor, Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor and Maine Medical Center in Portland is in danger of losing federal and private funding because the state does not have the necessary matching funds -- The Maine Science and Technology Foundation last year secured the grant money under the assumption that the state would commit $860,000 annually for the next two years, but the McKernan administration failed to include the money in its budget -- Details
