Abstract

The U.S. Small Business Administration has filed suit in U.S. District Court in Portland against Maine Aquarium Inc. of Saco, saying the aquarium owes nearly $500,000 in overdue loans and interest. The SBA is seeking court approval to recoup payment through a foreclosure sale of the aquarium, but Raymond Cronkite, president of the aquarium, said he is confident the aquarium can avoid foreclosure.
