Abstract

Consumers Water Co. of Portland yesterday announced that it has agreed to sell its Burlington Homes subsidiary to State Manufactured Homes of Scarborough for an undisclosed price. Consumers Water purchased Burlington Homes in 1983 as part of a diversification effort, but closed it recently after three years of financial losses.
