Abstract

The Summer of Safety, a prelude to President Clinton's national service program, will involve 90 projects in 35 states and the District of Columbia, with 7,000 people expected to participate. In Portland, 25 young men and women will collect water samples from Casco Bay and clean up graffiti and the results of vandalism in the downtown area. Details.
