Abstract

The Gorham Town Council, which, under the town charter, must adopt a budget by June 30, has decided to wait until June 29 to hold a public hearing on the combined municipal and school budget, which was recalled by voters earlier this week. To satisfy those who successfully led recall referendum, town officials will have to pare about $600,000 from the combined budget.
