Abstract

Tom Gerencer, 25, a Waterville native and Colby College graduate, this year won a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship for international study, one of only 60 fellowships awarded nationwide. Gerencer will use the $15,000 award to study radio theater in England, an art which virtually disappeared in the U.S. with the advent of television. Details.
