Abstract

Louis L. LaPierre, managing partner of ROMAC & Associates, an agency that matches employers with professionals looking for employment, says that temporary workers should only be hired if the situation is truly a temporary one. The fastest growing segment of ROMAC's business is supplying temporaries, with an average annual growth of around 20 percent in the demand for temporaries, but LaPierre says relying on a temporary workforce over the long run can be disruptive.
