Abstract

Jonathan West, president of the Ogunquit Rotary, and former District Gov. Bob Patten of Portland have started Rotary's first international Rwandan relief effort. Rotarians in 37 southern Maine chapters are collecting food, clothing and money for shipment to Rwandan refugee camps in Tanzania, with air transport to be provided later this summer by AmeriCares, a private relief organization based in New Canaan, Conn.
