Abstract

Mark Gessner, 30, of Nobleboro, charged in the May 5 shooting death of 74-year-old Melvin Henderson of Bath, yesterday pleaded innocent and innocent by reason of insanity to the charges. Pasquale J. Perrino Jr., Gessner's attorney, said that Henderson had sexually abused Gessner 14 years ago, and Gessner had been obsessed with the incident ever since. Details.
