Abstract

Brief article reporting that the Land for Maine's Future yesterday unanimously approved the purchase of land in York and Aroostook counties. A 31-acre parcel on Mount Agamenticus in York was purchased for around $23,000, while 746 acres and 53 miles of abandoned railway in northern Aroostook County was purchased for $410,000.
