Abstract

Aroostook County Micmacs have voted Roger Pictou, 32, the tribal governor, out of office for having misappropriated $7,200 in federal funds. The money was sent to Pictou's brother in Missouri for a six-week diving instructor's school in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
