Abstract

The U.S. Army's Breast Cancer Initiative has awarded the Jackson Laboratory a $1 million grant to raise and distribute genetically altered mice. The mice raised in the Induced Mutant Resource program are created through selective breeding, with each different mice type tailor-made for different types of research.
