Abstract

The town of North Berwick and Pratt & Whitney have agreed that the company should get a $429,000 refund on its 1993-94 taxes, provided the agreement is accepted by the town's voters. Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corp. of East Hartford, Conn., employs 1,500 at its North Berwick plant, where it manufactures aircraft engines.
