Abstract
"Editorial Page Editor" piece on the proposed memorial to the late Maj. Charles J. Loring Jr., the Portland native who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for action during the Korean War. Theo Holtwijk, landscape architect, is working on the project with Todd Richardson, and the new proposal includes a circle of upright panels at C.B. Circle on the Eastern Promenade.
