Abstract

Gary and Karen Westerman and their four children this summer returned to Maine after serving as missionaries in Uganda for two years. The Westermans next month will return to Kabale, Uganda, despite the fact that Africa Community Technical Service, the Canadian agency that funded their work, is out of funds. The Westermans worked with Uganda's Episcopal Church on teaching local residents in Kabale about farming practices, the AIDS epidemic and achieving financial self-sufficiency. Details.
